The following is just a sample of our favorite events taking place during 2014.
Hudson Restaurant Week
January 13 - January 26, 2014 in Hudson, New Jersey
Hudson Restaurant Week is a bi-annual culinary celebration that promotes Hudson County as a premier dining destination in New Jersey during slow times of the year: January and July. It was created by Get Out Hudson magazine in 2005 through conversations with local restaurants.and it put Hoboken and Jersey City restaurants on the map even to the point of being discussed side-by-side with New York's own event. The event is during slow times of year for the restaurant industry which is the end of the summer in July and after the holidays in January. Sugarloaf Crafts Festival
March 21-23, 2014 in Sommerset, New Jersey
Lovers of fine crafts and art will find more than 250 top artisans displaying and selling their unique creations in pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, home décor, furniture and home accessories, items for the garden, and photography. In addition to top national artists, the Festival will also introduce new and emerging artists showcasing the latest trends in handmade fashion and accessories, statement jewelry and fine art. Sherlock Holmes Weekend in Cape May
March and November in Cape May, New Jersey
March 14-16 and November 1-3, 2014.... be sure to reserve early! The game's afoot in Victorian Cape May... Choose your weekend for a suspense-filled encounter with that inimitable detective Sherlock Holmes in the National Historic Landmark City of Cape May, New Jersey.In a weekend of mystery and intrigue, Friday through Sunday, would-be sleuths can join others in the National Historic Landmark City of Cape May to solve the crime. Lambertville Shad Festival
April 26 & 27, 2014 in Lambertville, New Jersey
Each year the Lambertville Shad Festival highlights the region's arts community, the City of Lambertville, the Delaware River, and of course, Lambertville’s favorite fish, the Shad! The Shad Festival has evolved from a local art show into a nationally recognized, award winning event. Shad Fest features the area's finest artists and crafters, great food and family entertainment. The two-day extravaganza also serves as a venue for local nonprofit organizations to raise necessary operating funds. NJ Seafood Festival
June 6, 2014 in Belmar, New Jersey
The New Jersey Seafood Festival in Belmar combines a culinary celebration of seafood delights with a day of fun. The Annual event will once again unite master chefs, fine artists and crafts people along with musicians from around the state. Food offerings extend from the traditional shrimp, lobster and calamari, to the more exotic alligator sausage, sushi, conch fritters, and seafood paella. The New Jersey Seafood Festival has been named as one of the top 100 events in North America. Atlantic City Air Show

Attracting nearly a million people in 2012, the Atlantic City Airshow is one of the most popular events in Atlantic City, and one of the very best air shows in the country, with its heart-stopping feats, aerobatics maneuvers, formation flying and solo routines by military and civilian pilots. See flybys and demonstrations that reach up to 15,000 feet and as low as 50 feet over the water in front of the Atlantic City skyline.
