Sony Open in Hawaii

Merrie Monarch Festival
April 20 - 26, 2014 on the Big Island, Hawaii
The Merrie Monarch Festival is considered the world's premier forum for people of all ages to display their skills and knowledge of the art of ancient and modern hula. The week-long festival begins with Ho’olaulea (music festival) and continues all week with other festivities and the hula competition. Aloha Festivals

Aloha Festivals was first held in 1947 as Aloha Week, but has grown over the past five decades to encompass nearly a hundred events statewide over a two month period. It has become a celebration of our Hawaiian Culture integrated with the traditions and cultures of each of the islands through music, dance, cuisine and art. Molokai Hoe Canoe Race
October 12, 2014 - Molokai / Waikiki, Hawaii
The Molokai Hoe is one of the longest running annual team sporting events in Hawaii, second only to football. Celebrating more than 55 crossings of the Kaiwi Channel, this men’s race attracts more than 100 teams of canoe paddlers from around the world. It starts at Hale O Lono Harbor on Molokai and finishes at Duke Kahanamoku Beach in Waikiki across 41 miles of open-ocean. The Molokai Hoe tests the limits of physical and mental strength and endurance, courage determination and teamwork, and paddlers must also battle nature's most extreme elements. Coconut Festival

Are you ready to immerse yourself in all things coconut? This popular event at Kapaa Beach Park highlights the cultural, social and historical importance of the coconut. Crafters are on hand selling their island products. There are coconut games, coconut crafts and coconut contests. Ford Ironman World Championship

Honolulu Marathon
