Busch Gardens Williamsburg is one of the most beloved theme parks in America.  It is very well-maintained, has a unique design, and is an enjoyable stroll for the non daring riders. The Park is divided into ten sections, or hamlets, are inspired by countries in Europe, from Scotland to Germany, and the quality of the theme décor never fails to impress. The Griffon, the world’s tallest and fastest dive machine coaster will get you screaming.  Seasonal hours April through October- We love it!

America’s Theme Parks and Attractions are wide ranging in theme.  As Americans, we love our entertainment and thrills and as a result have the most theme parks per capita in the world.  These Parks in the United States range from Zoos to Water Parks, Movie Theme Parks to Character Parks, and Sports Parks to Arboretums.   Because the list is so wide in scope - we have picked our list for those you should plan to visit in 2013.  Pack well for we will take you from coast to coast.       

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has garnered international fame and the hearts of all. The zoo is open year round and is still home to Jack Hanna - one of America’s beloved animal experts.  With over 7000 animals, an aquarium, a water park, amusement park and golf resort - the Columbus Zoo is sure to delight the fancies of all of its visitors.  Since its opening in 1927  - the Columbus Zoo’s quality has continued to improve and delight.  Make a point to visit the Columbus Zoo.

When it’s time to get wet - the biggest might be the best - Noah's Ark  is America's largest water park, with 51 water slides and dozens of other various attractions. This is the "Water Park Capital of the World," with 18 indoor water parks- Noah's Ark is a popular tourist attraction.  Noah’s Ark is experience in water pleasure with over 30 years of splash fun.  You will have to wait until May to take in this park but the wait is well worth the water time.  Get wild, get wet - Noah’s Ark is big fun.

Walt Disney World and informally as Disney World, is the world's most-visited entertainment resort, located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida - just outside Orlando. Disney has put together the world's most popular package of theme parks including: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach.  Open year round - the Disney name has always stood for quality entertainment - the only problem you will encounter is being able to see it all - so plan to spend at least a week. Disney Rocks!

Disney Theme Parks - Lake Buena Vista, Fl

Universal Studios Orlando, Florida will not disappoint! Universal has more entertainment than you can experience in a week with 2 large parks & the CityWalk retail adventure. Universal Orlando is simply a must see, must do thrill. At Universal Studios, rides and attractions are based on popular movie and TV show properties, including Shrek, Men in Black, Hulk, Cat in the Hat, Simpsons, and so on.  The Spiderman Ride is pretty awesome! For thrill seeking fans -the sister park, Universal’s Islands of Adventure is unbelievable. These parks are open year round and promise thrills galore!

Universal Studios Orlando -  Orlando, Florida

Cedar Point is known as the roller coaster capital of the world. But some people just refer to Cedar Point as the world’s best amusement park.  Cedar Point is all about the thrills. With 120-mph roller coasters that have 80-degree drops and an amusement park that has exhilarating thrill rides. Cedar Point has rides for the entire family and has incredible water rides. Cedar Point will not only strengthen family bonds it will tighten those stomachs. Cedar Point is where thrills connect and where you will have the experience of a lifetime- New Rides in 2013 Promise to Deliver more thrills.

Sea World is a marine-life based zoological park and theme park in Orlando.  Sea World has always offered quality entertainment in this park with amazing animal exhibits and unbelievable shows including Shamu.  They have added a series of thrill rides to their package of Orlando based entertainment. SeaWorld Parks includes neighboring Discovery Cove  where In addition to swimming with dolphins, Discovery Cove guests can interact with exotic birds, tropical fish, rays, and land mammals. SeaWorld’s water park is Aquatica and provides wonderful water thrills.  Year round fun!

SeaWorld Orlando Theme Park - Orlando, FL

Six Flags Over Texas is a 212-acre theme park located in Arlington, Texas, east of Fort Worth and about 15 miles west of Dallas. It is the oldest park of the Six Flags chain. The park opened in 1961. Six Flags Over Texas hosts several seasonal events throughout the year. Following the Six Flags tradition - this park continues to deliver big rollercoasters, big rides and big thrills. This is a wonderful way to spend the day in the Dallas / Ft Worth area where you will surely take in the popular cowboy traditions held close to everyone’s heart.     Six Flags over Texas is open year round!   Wah Hooo!

Legoland California in Carlsbad, CA is for people who enjoy the amazing creations of people who think out of the Lego box as well as kids of most any age. Legoland California stretches its creative theming over 50 rides, shows and attractions that are friendly to younger children and consistently fun for all. Legoland has expanded its offerings to include a water park and sea life aquarium as well. Legoland is all about makes these stunningly accurate models which will keep you amazed throughout the day.  This is a great kid park and wonderful way to spend the day  just outside San Diego.

Carowinds is a 398-acre amusement park, located adjacent to Interstate 77 on the border between North and South Carolina - affectionately known as the trill capital of the southeast. Intimidator™ will dominate the Carowinds skyline at 232-feet tall, then race through more than a mile of high speed twists and turns in excess of 75 MPH!  Boomerang Bay is a 20 acre water park located in Carowinds and is included in regular park admission. Carowinds is seasonal and opens at the end of March in 2013.
