Providence Boat Show

The 20th Annual Providence Boat Show is one of the largest winter boat shows in New England featuring fishing and cruising powerboats as well as cruising and racing Sailboats. as well as equipment and services for all boating needs. With two side-by-side locations there is over 240,000 square-feet of exhibitor space, more than 280 exhibitors with over 300 boats ranging in size from 8 to 47 feet on display along with kayaks, inflatables, and accessories. Rhode Island Spring Flower and Garden Show

This is the premier New England Garden show. The Rhode Island Flower Show attracts more than 30,000 attendees annually, showcasing beautiful garden displays and 250 larger-than-life garden marketplace vendors. For almost two decades, the Flower Show has been the beacon for early Spring fun in Rhode Island. Stop by to see demonstrations and lectures with an emphasis on organic gardening. Newport Winter Festival

Gaspee Days Arts and Crafts Festival
May 24-26, 2014 in Pawtuxet Village, Rhode Island
TThe Annual Gaspee Days Arts & Crafts Festival
held on Memorial Weekend, attracts approximately 50,000 people for three days browsing and purchasing the wares of the 100-150 craft exhibitors along Narragansett Parkway in Warwick. All while this is going on, there is a professional food court, free family music entertainment, and other diversions for the children located in Pawtuxet Park. Rhode Island International Film Festival

Jazz Festival

Founded in 1954, the Newport Jazz Festival® was the first annual jazz festival in America. Newport International Boat Show
September 11-14, 2014 in Newport, Rhode Island
One of the four largest in-water boat shows in the country, the Newport International Boat Show features both power and sail on 15 acres along Americas Cup Ave. Highlights include 850 exhibitors and over 700 boats ranging in size from 16 to 85 as well as all kinds of equipment and services, seminars, demonstrations and children's activities. The show is also the official venue for US debuts of all new boats and boating products. The 43rd Annual Newport International Boat Show, September 12-15, 2013, will feature new sailboats and powerboats, and thousands of products and services from both domestic and international exhibitors. Multiple waterfront facilities along America's Cup Avenue host the Show including Newport Yachting Center, Oldport Marine, Bannister's Wharf and Bowen's Wharf. All Show sites are accessible by land or by water taxi service.

International Oktoberfest
October 11-12, 2014 in Newport, Rhode Island
The International Oktoberfest is an ardent tribute to Germany’s most famous fall festival, offering three stages of authentic German music and folk dancing, as well as a Kindergarten with family fun activities.
