Visit New York - The Big Apple!
If you want to see America like so many people do, you will not be disappointed when you start out in the beautiful state of New York. From the majestic mountains, lakes and cities, to their pastoral farmlands and vineyards, this state has everything you desire. Getaways in this state will create lasting memories that you will treasure for a lifetime.
New York state has a rich history, as it was one of the original United States, and was involved in America’s original independence from England which it declared on July 9, 1976. It saw the first constitution adopted into being in 1777 on April 20th, and it was the primary place of battle for the Revolutionary War in many ways. Almost one third of the fights were fought on New York territory. The Battle of Saratoga became the turning point of the Revolution and one of the important battles of the world, which led to the alliance with the French and the eventual victory that was enjoyed.
When you travel to New York, you can also learn about the first government which grew out of the Revolution. The election for the first governor took place during the war, and Albany became the capital of this state in January of 1797.
No matter what you enjoy, New York has the best of every-thing from almost everywhere in the world including foods, the arts and the great outdoors. Shopping, hiking, sightseeing or wine tasting can all be found in this wonderful state that has so much to offer its guests.New York also has one hundred state parks and a national parks in addition to many state forests, wildlife refuges and national historic sites and more for you to visit.
It is of course the home of one of the most well-known City in the world, New York City, which in and of itself has so much to offer you could spend a complete vacation there. You can climb the magnificent Statue of Liberty, visit the rich art museums and enjoy the fantastic shopping and food that this city provides.
If you are looking for something more romantic, you can visit the Niagara Falls and take in the awesome grandeur of the falls and the surrounding landscape or disappear into the quiet beauty of the Adirondack Mountains. You can ride a horse along the beautiful beaches of Long island or sample vintage wines at one of the State’s many lovely vineyards.
The State of New York allows you to choose how you want to spend your visit - peaceful and relaxed or full of adventure. New York can present you will both extremes and everything in between.
