Natchez Spring Pilgrimage
March 8 - April 8, 2014 in Natchez, Mississippi
Twenty-nine antebellum mansions, most of them private residences, open their doors to visitors during this four-week Pilgrimage every spring. Your guides are costumed family friends and descendants of the original owners, whose stories are as real as the bricks and mortar in their hearths. Each house is unique with 18th and 19th century furnishings, porcelain, silver, clothing, tools, documents and diaries. Hosts and hostesses dressed in period costume recount the history of each house and its various owners and occupants. Rivergate Festival

The Festival is full of family oriented opportunities all weekend.The free, weekend-long Rivergate Festival, an annual event held in Downtown Tunica, highlights cooking, music and fun for the whole family. In some of the best competitive barbecue cooking in the South, thirty different teams battle to produce the best pork barbecue. Nashville artists entertain thousands of visitors with their music, and fun is the order of the day at Funland Children's Activities and Super Chikan in the Park, and at the 7th annual "Running of the Hawgs" and Flag ceremony during the Rivergate Festival. Canton Flea Market Arts & Crafts Show
May 8, 2014 in Canton, Mississippi
The famous Canton Flea Market attracts artisans nationally to showcase handcrafted items such as pottery, jewelry, and unique arts & crafts. This bi-annual event attracts over 1,100 superior artists and craftsmen to within walking distance of the downtown area. Handmade arts and crafts are located on the Courthouse grounds and the adjacent Union and Center Streets. Tupelo Elvis Presley Festival
June 5 - 8, 2014 in Tupelo, Mississippi
Tupelo Elvis Festival is a musical celebration designed to honor Elvis Presley, Tupelo’s native son, and the impact that his music has on the world. Next year's festival will take place June 6, 7, 8 & 9.
Each year's festival features regional, national and local artists along with a Sunday Gospel Concert and a Tribute Artist Contest that serves as a preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. Fans come from near and far to see who will be chosen to represent Tupelo in Memphis during August. In addition to all of the great music, the festival features a number of local food vendors, a carnival midway, pet parade, beauty pageant, 5k run, parade, disc golf, movie poster exhibit, and much more. BB King Homecoming Festival
June in Indianola, Mississippi
Indianola is the hometown of legendary blues musician BB King. An international icon, BB King has entertained generations and inspired musicians from Elvis Presley to the Rolling Stones. Each year the BB King Homecoming Festival, which features the BB King Homecoming Concert, is held at Fletcher Park. At BB King's request, children under 12 are admitted free of charge, and regular admission is kept at a low charge with net proceeds going to Indianola Parks and Recreation. Neshoba County Fair
July 25 - August 1, 2014 in Philadelphia, Mississippi
The Neshoba County Fair is called Mississippi's Giant House Party, and it is just that. Neshoba County families gather from across the country every summer for a week long family reunion and house party like no other. The Fair cabin is the center of activity for families staying at the fair and the front porch is the most popular place for gathering. Porches are for sitting, visiting and just watching the neighborhood activities. Home of the state's only licensed horse track since 1922 and the nation's largest campground fair, the Neshoba County Fair is also referred to as "Mississippi's Giant House Party®" and was entered on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. 27th Annual Slugburger Festival
July 11 - 13, 2014 in Corinth, Mississippi
A tradition for over 24 years, this annual event is the ultimate tribute to the local culinary delight - the slugburger. The slugburger is a beef and soybean grits combination deep-fried instead of grilled as the usual hamburger with a garnish of mustard, pickle and onion. Mississippi Delta Blues Festival

The 37th Annual Mississippi Delta Blues is recognized as one of America's most important musical forms. The Mississippi Delta Blues Festival celebrates and helps to preserve this culture.When the festival began in 1978 it was little more than a local community gathering. Today it is the second oldest continuously operating blues festival in the country attracting performers such as BB King, Sam Chatmon, Son Thomas, Willie Foster, Ruby Wilson, Robert Cray, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Albert King, Bobby Rush and Denise LaSalle. Biloxi Seafood Festival
September 13 & 14, 2014 in Biloxi, Mississippi
For over 32 years the Biloxi Seafood Festival has been held as a celebration of Biloxi's rich culture, heritage, and connection to the seafood industry. The two-day festival features continuous live entertainment, an array of seafood, Sunday's Gumbo Contest, arts & craft booths, and children's activities. Food fun events feature a gumbo championship, and a large selection of seafood including jambalaya, shrimp and fried fish. Live music, from country to rock, entertains the foodies.
