IDAHO - A UNITES STATES GEM!
The gem state of America; who wouldn’t want to go there? For a state that has incredible amounts of gemstones, it’s true worth is that Idaho boasts a son, Gutzon Borglum, who sculpted one of the most iconic symbols of America, the 60-ft faces of four US Presidents on Mt Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota; thereby sparking attention all over the world. It is indeed a remarkable sight.
Idaho is every nature lover’s dream place to be. Blessed with a mountainous landscape filled with untamed forests and vast lakes, it captures the imagination of all the campers, hikers and mountain climbers. Mountaineers travel for miles just to enjoy coming face to face with the Borah Peak, which is the highest point in the region, standing at over 12,000 feet. Coming close to eclipsing the sheer excitement of mountaineering, is the amazing Hells Canyon Recreational Area. Aside from the mind-blowing scenic spots, you can get your heart racing with the unpredictable white-water boating. Hells Canyon is sure to leave you wishing the day would never end.
The Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness, named after Senator Frank Church who played a key role in the 1964 Wilderness Act, also brings excitement to the table with Grand Canyons of the Colorado River and the Salmon River Mountains. Get to join in and explore the terrain, selecting advantageous vistas of the Wilderness to set up campsites and have fun throughout the night. There are plenty of options here, with horse packing and jet boating allowed in the area. Ski trips are also the norm. This place is so excitingly outrageous that they even allow small planes to land here. If you can afford a plane, fly on down to the Wilderness with friends and enjoy the plethora of options available.
The last places to visit in Idaho are the Craters of the Moon lava fields and the Silverwood Park. The Craters of the Moon is just a great place to witness the evolution of geologic activity. That area would definitely appeal to you if you were a scientist. Silverwood Park is a great place to the family. Filled with theme parks and a steam engine train, it will undoubtedly crown the joys of visiting Idaho.
Therefore, as we hold hands and utter the motto of the state, “Esto Perpetua” which means ‘let it be perpetual’ or ‘it is forever’; Indeed, may all this beauty in Idaho and the joy it brings last forever.
In addition to the glorious mountains and plains found in Idaho, the rivers come
together to form spectacular waterfalls in several areas across the state - a worthy

Idaho’s Spectacular Waterfalls!
It's been called one of the most scenic stretches of railroad in the country and
is now a bike path. Winding through eleven tunnels and over nine high steel trestles,
the 46-mile route crosses the rugged Bitterroot Mountains between Idaho and Montana.
The route of the Hiawatha is best known for the long, dark St. Paul Pass or "Taft"
Tunnel which burrows for 1.8 miles under the state line. View more!
