The
stunning female vocalist on these arrangements
is Andrea Kramer. Raised in Portland,
Maine for most of her life, Andrea Kramer has
made Florida her home for the last 15 years. Andrea
has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Historical Studies.
It was there she met her husband of 8 years, Ryan.
Andrea became music pastor at the age of twenty-three
and has produced two original worship albums composing
over two hundred worship songs.
Andrea has led worship for women’s conferences
around the state and the nation. She has also
been invited to sing at motivational and political
events including those for Zig Ziglar and Mayor
Rudy Giuliani. Although, her greatest accomplishment
by far is being mother to Jeremiah (3), Jordan
(2), and Journey.
Andrea was 8 months into her pregnancy with Journey
when we recorded her voice at Whitewater Recording
Studios. Since then, Journey has been welcomed
into this world with warm loving arms. Special
thanks go out to Andrea for “delivering”
a magical touch to this project.

Voices in the Laurel:
A Musical Success Story
|
Directed by Martha
Youngwood and starting its eleventh season,
this not-for-profit community organization based
in Western North Carolina, stresses musical excellence
for young people. Members hail from all over the
region, and come from Haywood, Swain, Jackson,
and Buncombe counties in North Carolina. Voices
in the Laurel began in the summer of 1996 as a
single 33-singer choir, and have grown into a
regional choral music program consisting of two
performance groups. The organization is now made
up of 120 singers, ranging from the third through
the twelfth grades.
Voices choristers learn music reading and healthy
singing techniques through rehearsals that incorporate
a variety of music education methods, including
Kodaly. One of the organization's goals is to
expose choristers and audiences to a variety of
styles of music, ranging from the historical musical
styles of the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque,
Classical, Romantic and twentieth century art
music to folk songs from many countries, gospel,
popular music and jazz.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to this stellar organization
and their angelic voices.
